Steady...this balance beam was recently raised in the last month and stands about 2 ft. high.
Nolan is getting better at holding himself on the bar. He loves to twirl around it too!Nolan really looks forward to his Thursday night gymnastic time. He has been working with other three and four year old children at Northcrest since September. Unfortunately, Nolan was blessed with my clumsiness gene, so we thought this program might help him become not only stronger, but more coordinated. The kids bounce, tumble, jump, and balance in an ocean themed room for 50 minutes. The activities are set up in an obstacle course fashion, so they can continuously move from one event to the next. Three instructors work with the children during their lesson each week. Nolan's favorite thing is the trampoline. They actually do a considerable amount of jumps on it...not just bouncing like you'd probably expect. Mike, Lilly, and I are not allowed into the room during instruction time, but can watch through a window as he practices. It has been a lot of fun for us to see him get stronger and more confident.
