Captain Herman's Fishing Boat
Grilling the lobsters they caught for dinner
Slaving over a hot stove...poor me
Denell was in heaven!
Mouthwatering Lobster fresh from the ocean...Yesterday was another great day...why wouldn't it be? right? Mike and Kevin got up in time to see the sunrise on Captain Herman's fishing boat. They went out for a four hour deep sea fishing adventure with Bruce and Karen. The four had a great time. Karen reeled in a Barracuda and Mike caught a Mackerel. As part of the fishing fee, Herman said they would also dive for lobster. This got Mike very excited...he loves to snorkel and has spent just about every day light minute with his head in the water. Herman and Mike dove down searching for them while the others waited in the boat. Mike was surprised however to see them slowly venturing farther and farther away from the boat. Bruce, Karen, and Kevin grew very nervous waiting for them...they actually lost sight of them. Mike was extremely tired, but did manage to help Herman bag five fresh lobsters for our dinner. His arms have claw marks all over them! I am so thankful he's in the shape he's in, because it took close to an hour to get him back to the boat.
Denell and I went for a morning jog/walk and also got a few more groceries while waiting for them to return. We all spent the afternoon at Rum Point. This is one of the best beaches on the island. We love the crystal clear turquoise waters, white powdery sand, and palm trees that canopy over the beach. It was a very relaxing. Mike and Kevin even managed to take short naps there. Mike woke himself up when he started snoring and the lady next to him got the giggles. =0)

We all gathered together for our Lobster dinner last night. We grilled lobsters, fish, pork chops, and steaks for everyone. Rice, fresh pineapple, salad, and garlic bread accompanied the mouthwatering meal. It was truly wonderful! The fishing crew was pretty proud of their catch...and Denell was in heaven. She's been craving lobster since we landed on the island. To have it fresh was a real treat. A few games of Catch Phrase, lots of laughter, and silly stories ended our perfect day!
