We had a blast!

We had a great day yesterday. The morning sky was filled with dark clouds, so we decided to venture over to the resort next door (The Reef) and hear all about their timeshare resort. The other motivator was the $100 cash they give you for listening. It was painless and actually quite interesting, so getting paid $100 for a 45 minute talk was worth it. By lunch time, the clouds disappeared and we decided to spend another day here at the resort basking in the sun and snorkeling. On Monday nights, the resort throws a big welcome party on the dock bar. We wanted to be ready for the free appetizers and drinks, so we headed up to shower around 4:00 so we could be down there in time. I was a lucky girl last night, because I won a kayaking trip for one, a can cooler, and a free drink ticket. Pretty cool!
We enjoyed a Caribbean buffet on the deck after the welcome party...it was sooo delicious! The guys were so happy to have all the hot meat choices- beats the cold sandwiches they've been eating for lunch. A local Cayman man performed for us. The music was awesome and Denell and I managed to burn a lot of calories on the dance floor. We did pull our husbands in for a few- they were pretty good sports about it too! After the dance, we suited up again and headed to the hot-tub to unwind. It was lovely sitting under the clear starry sky. A great day was had by all.
