Nolan was all smiles from the minute he got up.When he woke up, he proudly announced that he was officially a Kindergarten boy!
Nolan had no reservations.
Nolan had an awesome first day of kindergarten. Mrs. Perry is his teacher this year and I know that he is going to succeed in her classroom. She is full of life, very caring, and extremely structured...all great characteristics for our little man. Nolan had a good first day report for us. If you remember my post from the first day of school last year, then you will probably recall me posting his top ten highlights. Here is this year's list:
1. Eating lunch at school was so cool! (He ordered the salad and had chocolate milk.)
2. They get to go to music and gym everyday!
3. Blake L. and Blake H. are in his class again this year...he was happy to see that some of his friends from his preschool class were in his class again this year.
4. Mrs. Perry read a book about Q Bear. He enjoyed this book because they all got to ask their teacher a lot of questions...Mrs. Perry's favorite color is green!
5. He made several new friends: Seth, Matty, and Ella.
6. They learned a new song, which he sang for us at the dinner table.
7. He has his own work spot...and his name is on it, so no one else can sit there.
8. He got to play on the playground two times.
9. Rest time was actually kind of fun...it was really short though, because they were running out of time.
10. He can't wait until tomorrow.
Sounds like it was a great day...we are looking forward to many more good reports!
