ABC and 123

Lilly's big, first day of school has finally come. On Thursday night, Lilly started ECFE classes at Oak Ridge Elementary. It seems like she has been waiting for this day forever. It is a little painful for her to see all the things Nolan gets to do, because she so desperately wants to be doing them too. So, to have her pack up her backpack and head to school thrilled her more than ever and brought us joy. She assigned herself snack helper and thought that we should bring fruit snacks and graham crackers for the class. Lilly is fortunate to have Mrs. Larson and Ms. Monica (Nolan's teachers from last year) teach her class. She already knew their names from hearing about them so much and felt very comfortable in Nolan's old classroom. Stations were set up around the room for us to enjoy together. She loved painting, playing with the felt board, the sand table, the doll and kitchen area, and most of all the matching station. Her class is made up of 11 children, 10 of which are girls! Lilly is definitely excited about going again next week and we are so happy she loves it!
