The Great Pumpkin

We're off to find the perfect pumpkin!

Nolan was determined to lift them into the wheelbarrow.

He didn't realize how much work this was going to be.

Lilly found the perfect "little" one for herself.

A fun filled day for our family!

The weather has been so unpredictable this month, so finding the perfect Saturday to visit the patch was quite challenging. One Saturday morning we woke up to a snow covered lawn and the next, was rainy and cold. Not your typical fall, that is for sure. Thankfully, there was one decent weekend in the month of October. So off to the Shaddy Hallows we went.
The kids were excited to enter the patch this year. Hundreds of bright orange, round pumpkins were laid before them. Pumpkins of all sizes waiting to be picked by a special child. Nolan liked all of the big ones and had fun rolling them over to the wheelbarrow. When he couldn't lift it in, he opted for a smaller one. Lilly fell in love with the little ones and carried hers around most of the trip. They did get tired combing through the patch and dodging the vines, so Mike pleased them both by pushing them and their pumpkins back to the car. It was a great day at the pumpkin patch.
