Seeing all the neighborhood children ride their bikes around the block gave Nolan the motivation he needed to learn to pedal without his training wheels. We started him on his smaller bike so that he could put his foot down when he needed to regain his balance.

It only took a couple of tries and he had it. In fact, he is a much better biker without them. Within a week, the training wheels came off of his bigger bike and he's been enjoying the sidewalk and bike path with the best of them.

Nolan enjoys going for family bike rides a lot more now too. He thinks it is easier to ride and has been on several five mile trips with us already. BMX bikes, the dirt hills, and ramps has been a favorite topic of discussion. Mike and Nolan have formed a special "Biker Bond"...which is making Mike very proud.
