Dying Easter Eggs

Dying eggs is something we enjoy doing together at Easter time. I actually cringe when we do this activity, because the dye is so messy, but it is always so much fun. This year, we bought the classic egg dying kit. They weren't real fancy, so we thought it would be fun to add our own special touches. Lilly wanted to make bunnies out of hers, so we made ears and added buttons to them. These eggs became "pets" so to speak. In no time, they were talking to each other. Bunny number one and bunny number two had a lot of work to do in order to be ready for Easter morning. A little creativity goes a long way and can make for some very "hoppy" kids.
